South Beach Day 5 and Christmas Shopping

I tried to eat more vegetables yesterday, so here's what I ate in a nutshell (HAHAH FOOD RELATED PUN) .......ANYWAYS:

Eggs eggs eggs
this tea is SO GOOD
I've yet to be sick of this snack
Beautiful salad...
...before I ruined it with tuna. (Don't worry, it was still delicious.)
JW's plate, because I was too hungry to take a picture of mine before I ate all of it.
Just kidding. I remembered after I ate my first chicken breast. That thing had parmesan, pesto, garlic powder, and pepper on it. It was sooo good! And we roasted the grape tomatoes in the same skillet. YUM.
I haven't ran since the 4 miles on Monday, and I have a "5K" tomorrow morning. I put it in quotes because it's a Sweater Dash, so everyone will look ridiculous and it's not timed and there will be Christmas photo ops with Santa... so it's barely a run. So, I'm glad I didn't go too intense with the "training"... if you can call it that.

I spent the rest of today shopping for gifts and I can definitely tell there are more people in the stores than usual. I was at Target at 10am and damn, it was crowded for being that early. Like... really??

But now our tree has presents under it!! Yay. Only one of them is for JW - the others are for separate Secret Santa/White Elephants (one is tomorrow), and for my future in-laws. I still have a few more gifts to get, but first I have to figure out what they'll be. Hmmmmm.

Do you have anybody in your family that's hard to buy presents for?
For me, it's any girl. There's just too many possibilities!

  1. Do you find it easy shopping for JW? Every year I really struggle figuring out what to get Greg, he usually just buys and has everything he already wants!

    1. Ugh it is SO HARD to shop for him!! JW and Greg sound really similar! Usually I get him something comfortable, like slippers or a robe - or I try and update his wardrobe by giving him nice shirts. It's so hard haha!
